Ensembles Terry's bands, Waldo's Gutbucket Syncopators, Waldo's Gotham City Band, and several smaller ensembles, present the music of early jazz masters such as Jelly Roll Morton, Louis Armstrong, and Bessie Smith. The groups are veterans of numerous recording and concert dates and are made up of a "who's who" of traditional jazz musicians. They are often joined by a classical blues vocalist, such as Broadway star Ruth Brisbane, who was featured in ONE MO' TIME and BLACK & BLUE (4 to 10 musicians).
Waldo's Ragtime Orchestra features Terry Waldo and a group of America's finest classically trained jazz musicians. Together, they recreate the lively and entertaining style of the vaudeville orchestras of the early 20th century. Waldo's Ragtime Orchestra revives the brilliance, humor, and joy of this original American music.
